Ezgi Acar

Ezgi spent 8+ years in refugee protection and program delivery, most recently at UNHCR managing national-level programs, a $2M partner budget, and a 30+ organization stakeholder network. That work taught her how to operate with almost no resources, how to understand what people actually need, and how to keep moving when everything goes wrong. BloomDay was built entirely by her, as a former humanitarian worker who transitioned into app development during a career change. Using AI tools to accelerate development, she created BloomDay as a passion project that combines her love of productivity systems with the calming presence of plants.
