Our company, Skala Nova Etiket ve Tekstil Aks. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti., was founded in 2008 with the strength drawn from our family-owned factory, aiming to bring a fresh perspective to the industry. In addition to button and accessory production, we also began manufacturing labels (woven, fabric labels – such as printed on canvas, cardboard labels, care labels, etc.), providing services to the sector.
Our Scala Nova Button (Scala Nova Düğme) logo is a registered trademark and supported by the slogan “A new harbour, a brand-new perspective.”
With environmentally conscious R&D projects focused on nature and people, we have made a difference in the sector. Our patented product group, recognised as an innovation, was awarded the Gold Medal by the Turkish Ministry of Industry.
With a production approach that prioritises customer satisfaction and a holistic, empathy-driven marketing mindset, we will continue to make a difference, stay aware and serve both Turkey and the world.
The General Manager and founder of the company, Meryem Tokgöz Kaya, was born in Adana in 1967. She completed her primary education at Adana Osmangazi Primary School, her secondary education at Istanbul Nişantaşı Girls’ High School and graduated as the top student of her class from Beyoğlu Girls’ Vocational High School in Istanbul. Benefiting from the special quota reserved for top graduates, she enrolled in the Istanbul University School of Press and Broadcasting, Department of Journalism and Public Relations, and graduated in 1989.
She completed her internship at İmaj Public Relations under the supervision of Ms. Betül Mardin, thus entering the sector. In 1992, she founded Camdanev Public Relations, through which she provided services to numerous public and private institutions both in Turkey and abroad until 2008.
