K’ai&Vrosi is an international designer bag brand from Turkiye established in 2018. Made in our homeland, our bags is the proof of exquisite craftmanship of Turkiye. From scratch to the final stage, we aim nothing but top level workmanship. Working with three different atelier, we make sure that everything is handled detailed and carefully because we believe bags are timeless accessories and should be worn in the long term.
In partnership with wicker basket makers, handloom fabric weavers in Black Sea Region and genuine leather workers in Istanbul, we preserve and protect the traditional making methods. Seven years in this sector shows us how much our bags is loved and embraced. We established K’ai&Vrosi LLC in the USA in 2024. We have been expanding our capacity and activities day by day.
After graduated from Italian Language and Literature, Cigdem Kacar Selimoglu worked with Italian designers and craftspeople in textile industry. Combining her knowledge and experience, she founded K’ai&Vrosi in 2018. Although she was born and raised in Istanbul, her mind and soul was always related with her hometown Black Sea Region where she witnessed and embraced the image of powerful and dedicated women. Year after year, she became one of them. She gathered contemporary and traditional, today’s fashion and old techniques during her bag designing process. She loves to spend her time in the atelier with the craftspeople, drinking Turkish tea and taking photos.
